About Restock
Software for the trade
that runs India.
Indian wholesale runs on relationships, credit, and phone calls. Restock keeps the first two and replaces the third — a clean ordering layer between dealers and retailers, with Tally still keeping the books.
What we are
The layer, not the middleman.
Every design decision in Restock follows from one rule: the trade belongs to the dealer and the retailer. We're deliberately none of these things —
Not a marketplace
We don't list inventory, set prices, or take a cut. Dealers and retailers trade with each other on their own terms — Restock is the software they do it through.
Not a payment gateway
Money moves directly between retailer and dealer over UPI, bank transfer or cash. We record the reference; we never hold, route, or touch funds.
Not a lender
Credit on Restock is the dealer's own credit, extended on the dealer's own terms. We give it structure — limits, due dates, repayment ratings — not capital.
Why we exist
The order book deserved better.
Between every Indian dealer and the shops they serve sits a daily ritual: phone calls, WhatsApp lists, handwritten credit entries, and a Tally operator retyping all of it at night. The trade works — it has for decades — but the tooling never caught up.
Restock is that missing tooling. Pack-level catalogs instead of photo dumps. Credit limits and due dates instead of memory. Live order status instead of “kal aayega.” And every confirmed order booked into Tally automatically, because the books were never the problem — the data entry was.
We're building it in India, for how Indian wholesale actually works — GSTIN verification, UPI-first payments, and Tally as the system of record it already is.
