Choose Books in Restock
Sign in with your mobile number, choose “Just see my Tally books”, and add your business name and city. No business-proof application is needed for Books.

Link your Tally PC
Install the Restock Connector for TallyPrime on your Windows PC. Open TallyPrime, then scan or type the connector’s code in Restock.

Read your books anywhere
Your Tally and Account tabs keep things simple. The PC sends updated books while Tally is open; pull down to ask for the latest.

Questions about Books
A few things to know.
What does Books cost?
Books is ₹249 a month or ₹2,499 a year, with a 30-day free Books trial. There is no six-month Books plan. We are preparing for launch; join the Books early-access list for availability.
Will Books change anything in Tally?
No. Books reads your TallyPrime data for your phone. It does not send sales vouchers, receipts or credit notes back to Tally, publish a catalogue, or receive orders from shops.
Do I need customers or suppliers to join Restock?
No. Books shows the parties already in your own Tally books. They do not need Restock accounts for you to see their balances and statements.
What do I need on my PC?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC with TallyPrime and the Restock Connector for TallyPrime. Silver and Gold licences work; Tally ERP 9 is not supported. The PC needs an internet connection and TallyPrime open to send fresh data.
How fresh are the figures?
The app shows when your books were last read. The connector checks while TallyPrime is open, and you can pull down to request a refresh. The first read brings in this and the previous financial year a few months at a time.
Who can see my books?
Your Books account sees its own Tally data. It is private and does not appear as a store for shops to order from. Restock stores the synced data so you can read it on your phone; see the privacy policy for how it is handled.
Can I move from Books to Premium later?
Yes. Choose Premium and submit the normal dealer application when you want to take orders from your shops. Your books and linked PC stay. Premium includes Books; Books is a separate account type and does not stack with Basic.
What happens when my plan ends?
Reading and refreshing your books pauses until you renew Books or Premium. Your saved books stay. A store subscription can renew automatically; the terms are shown before you pay.
Is Restock part of Tally?
No. Restock is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tally Solutions. TallyPrime is a trademark of Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Restock names it to describe what Books works with.
